At the end of 2022, SOGO Department Store launched a supply chain sustainability survey and officially established the Far Eastern SOGO Carbon Reduction Alliance in 2023.
Deya (UNI-PARAGON ENTERPRISE CO., LTD.) proudly joined as a founding member of the first cohort, partnering with fellow members to actively support carbon reduction initiatives. This collective effort spans across factories, offices, and employees, promoting energy conservation, waste reduction, and carbon footprint minimization—working together toward a net-zero, green lifestyle.
The first annual meeting of the Carbon Reduction Alliance was held on September 26, with nearly 30 partner companies in attendance.
During the event, Far Eastern SOGO also presented awards to recognize and honor outstanding corporate partners for their commitment and contributions to sustainability and carbon reduction efforts.
At the annual meeting, SOGO also revealed the impressive results achieved by alliance partners:
On average, members reduced electricity consumption by 5️% compared to before joining.
Partners also actively supported the Ministry of Environment’s Green Office initiative, launched public welfare campaigns, and organized beach cleanups.
